A 2nd generation oil/gas professional, David has over 29 years of E & P experience with a strong history of field optimization, operations, and acquisitions throughout many basins with his emphasis in East Texas, the Upper Gulf Coast and the Rockies.
In 2003, David established Martineau Petroleum, Inc., operating 400 wells in Texas, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Before founding Martineau Petroleum he worked at Kerr-McGee(Oryx), he was a production engineer overseeing water floods in North-Central Texas and gas properties on the Texas gulf coast. He also sat on the A&D and EHS teams.
Currently, David is CEO and Manager of EnRes Resources. EnRes provides equity and debt financing for sub$100MM transactions. David, also, serving as a managing member of Finergy Capital, LLC. Finergy is a privately help fund focusing on financing small to micro-cap oil/gas companies.
Active in professional associations: David is a member of SPE, SIPES, TIPRO, and The Texas Alliance. He sits on the University of Texas, Jackson School of Geosciences advisory board. David was named a “Rising Star” in the energy sector by D-CEO Magazine. The Texas Alliance of Energy Producers presented him with the ‘Today’s Leader” award.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Engineering from the University of Mississippi and a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Texas.
John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from the University of Texas at Austin in 1974. His successful 50 year career in the oil and gas industry includes experience in prospect generation, field development, reservoir geology, as well as 2D & 3D seismic interpretation.
He has worked all the major hydrocarbon producing basins in the lower 48 states. His experience includes time spent at major oil companies such as Cities Service and POGO Producing Company and independents such as TXO Production Co., Headington Oil Company, and BASA Resources.
With over 25 years of experience in the oil & gas industry, Kelli maintains the daily accounting functions of 15+ close knit companies, producing timely financial reporting, tax return preparation, cash management and state and government compliance reports.
In 2007, Kelli joined Martineau Petroleum as a Senior Accountant and was promoted to Controller in 2010.
Active in the community, Kelli serves as a Mentor Mom in the Young Men’s Service League of Aggieland and enjoys volunteering at many service organizations. Kelli is a 1996 graduate of Texas A&M University and earned a BBA in Accounting.
